About

A founder-led practice, held to commitments it puts in writing.

This page covers who does the work, what the work is held to, where you’ll interact with GenThree, and what is relied on for each part of an analysis, so you can judge the practice before you ever talk to it.

The practice

Small on purpose.

A founder-led practice can be precise about who is accountable. There is no hand-off from a salesperson to an analyst to a junior associate. The person you talk to is the person who does the work and stands behind it.

Founder-led
Ben does the analysis and is responsible for every recommendation. Administrative help covers scheduling and paperwork, never the analysis or the advice.
Whole household in scope
Work begins from how accounts, income, taxes, property, benefits and family plans affect each other, not from a single account or product.
Long horizon by default
The decisions that matter most usually reach years ahead, and often reach people beyond the household making them.

The charter

Five commitments the work is held to.

  1. Article I: Scope and price come first.

Before any work begins, you know what is included, what isn't, and what it costs.

Agreed in writing at the start of every engagement.

  2. Article II: Assumptions stay visible.

Every conclusion shows what it depends on and what would change it, so you can judge it rather than take it on trust.

    No black-box answers.

  3. Article III: You'll hear it when deeper work isn't warranted.

If a simpler path, a smaller engagement or a good free resource would serve you, that's what gets said.

Including before you've paid for anything.

  4. Article IV: Other professionals keep their roles.

GenThree works alongside your CPA, attorney or insurance professional and prepares the questions worth bringing to them. It doesn't stand in for them.

    Coordination, not impersonation.

  5. Article V: Decisions are weighed for the people they reach.

Including the ones who come later. Wealth is treated as something to look after well, not only something to grow.

    Stewardship over optimization.

Three surfaces

Where you'll interact with GenThree, and where you won't.

Public

Who has access: Open to anyone

Engagement begins

Planned for launch

Client Portal

At launch, a separate secure Client Portal will be where clients exchange documents and receive the work prepared for them. It is designed to present approved information, not to run analysis.

Who has access: Clients, once engaged

Reviewed, approved work only

Private

G3

GenThree's analytical platform, used only by the practitioner. Clients never log into it, and it isn't offered as client software.

Who has access: Practitioner only

Statements and other financial documents belong in a secure channel once an engagement begins, never in website forms or ordinary email.

How the work is done

Each part of the work has a clear authority.

Technology makes the analysis deeper and faster. It doesn't decide anything. Here is who, or what, is relied on for each part.

Evidence and support

What is true about your finances
Your documents and verified records. Where something is missing or out of date, that is noted rather than guessed.
The arithmetic
Tested, rule-based calculations. When the inputs and the rules are known, the math is not left to interpretation.
Facts that change
Current research, where rates, rules or limits matter, checked at the time the work is done.
Exploring and challenging
AI-assisted analysis helps explore alternatives, organize findings, draft explanations and argue against a first conclusion. It does not make recommendations on its own.

Practitioner review

Everything above is checked here before it becomes a recommendation.

Judgment and decision

Judgment and the recommendation
The practitioner, who reviews the work and is responsible for what is recommended.
Whether, when and how to act
You. Your assets stay in your control throughout.

The internal methodology, prompts and tools behind this stay private. That protects how the work is done, not what it concludes: every recommendation you receive still shows its reasoning and its assumptions.
